My kitchen has no curtains 3 years after remodeling. I always intended to get curtains but never quite got around to it and I probably never will now 9at least not in the near future).
The thing is I have decided I quite like the window as it is letting in as much light as possible. (The room is north facing). And also the window is the old fashioned sash/casement type and has an interesting surround and a wide window sill which I have filled with plants.
No one can really see inside the kitchen and nothing much goes on in there apart from cooking LOL anyway so I think it will be just fine.
Next time we redecorate I will maybe think again but for now that room is the least of my curtain worries.
