I have the most hideous blind up in my home office. It is a kind of Austrian blind made in the days when they were all the rage - all balloon folds and frills in pink with pale green miniature flowers.
I have to admit that I have lived with this thing for quite a few years without paying it much attention but it really doesn't go with an office environment. New curtains are definitely required but what is really needed for an office window treatment? I don't think I've ever seen a real office with curtains but I suppose a home office has different rules.
This room where I spend most of my time is actually the one which is the most neglected. The dark green carpet is worn. The walls are quite scuffed and needing a lick of paint.
Ideally I'd like one of those companies to come in which do fitted home office furniture as the room is quite an odd shape but that is not going to happen anytime soon. Meanwhile I could do something with that blind...
